It was a profound honor to represent the American Institute of Polish Culture (AIPC) Tampa Bay and officially welcome the President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, during his recent visit to Florida. As I welcomed the President, I had the privilege of introducing our Institute, sharing our mission, and speaking about the meaningful events we host right here at the Kościuszko monument.

In June 2025, Milosz and I had the privilege of attending the 27th Annual Family Café Conference in Orlando. Milosz shared his music during a moving performance at the Hyatt Regency Rotunda, and I had the honor of presenting our story to a full room of engaged attendees.

As Director of the American Institute of Polish Culture in Tampa Bay, TEDx speaker, and author of I Heard the Light and its Polish version Przez labirynt autyzmu, I had the honor of presenting my son Milosz’s remarkable journey through autism to self-expression at the 2025 60 Million Congress – The Global Polonia Summit in Miami.

As Director and Board Member of the American Institute of Polish Culture in Tampa Bay, I’ve had the privilege of organizing and leading two of our most meaningful community celebrations: Polish Constitution Day on May 3rd and National Polish Independence Day on November 11th—both held at the Tadeusz Kościuszko Monument in St. Petersburg, Florida.

It was both an honor and a deeply meaningful experience to serve as Master of Ceremonies and as part of the organizing committee for this year’s Polonaise Ball—an elegant and inspiring fundraising gala dedicated to supporting scholarships for Polish-American students and Polish Saturday Schools in the Tampa Bay Area.
